AARAV MEHTA

Hi! I’m Aarav Mehta and I’m a junior at Glastonbury High School in Glastonbury, Connecticut where I’m on the High Honor Roll. I’ve received awards in various computer science competitions (through organizations like ALCS and Lockheed Martin) and have experience tutoring elementary and middle school students. My love of game design was born out of the countless hours I spent playing video games. When I was introduced to computer science and coding, I realized I found the perfect outlet for my creative passions, including music composition. I decided to form LAAGD because I want to help young people gain a competitive advantage in our increasingly technical world. By using an interactive, game design format, I can teach students the basics of coding in a challenging and fun way. When I’m not coding and composing, I like spending time with friends and family, eating my mom’s amazing food, and watching reruns of my favorite show, Breaking Bad.
